I genuinely think that The Aqualizer mouth design is brilliant, superb even, which is important. The design is especially important as it's the best guard to wear if you need to wear one throughout your day. (Some mouth guards require this.) 

I have spoken with the proprietors or company that makes the Aqualizer and they stated to me that the Aqualizer is made for usage as a diagnostic tool for dental practitioners or professionals so as to identify if the patients' discomfort is triggered with a bad mouth bite or otherwise.

It's good to see that they are thinking "diagnostically" here as many such manufacturers for health products like this don't.

Okay, the negatives.

The Aqualizer Review wouldn't be complete without discussing its negatives. My experience is that it doesn't work well when one has to wear it throughout the night, nor when one needs to wear it for protracted or lengthy amounts of time.

It doesn't appear to be designed to be worn in such a manner as compared to other mouth guards that are available in the marketplace. I have found that it "flops around" if you will and this is critical to a good night's sleep for bruxism or grinding teeth sufferers. This is, of course, in comparison with other night or mouth guards.

So, my recommendation is to utilize the Aqualizer for daytime usage only on an as needed basis. I suggest using another mouth guard for bruxism patients so they can sleep and get the help they need.

Final Points.

This mouth guard is among the couple of mouthpads or mouth guards that I have personally examined that's particularly designed to reduce TMJ discomfort. That is very good. However, it's not a perfect guard for TMJ or TMD. It is preferable to others to put on or wear throughout your day as it enables you to speak normally, which is good.

I did not like this one during the night, though. I became convinced that I would swallow it or that it would fall out. Plus, it woke me up when sleeping with it.

In conclusion, it is the best guard to put on throughout your day but it falls flat for bruxism or teeth grinding issues.
